The current Event Pokédex lists Hoppip, Skiploom, Jumpluff, Sableye, Jirachi, Feebas, and Milotic. The Basin Pokédex is a separate 50-entry collection beginning with Shellder and ending with Manaphy. Some forms share a main Pokédex number, and separate tabs can overlap concepts, so adding every headline number is not a reliable count of unique models.

Why a fixed Pokemon-by-region chart is misleading

Pokopia does not use a simple “Grass types live in region A, Water types live in region B” table. The documented flow is:

  1. Open the species entry and identify its exact named habitat.
  2. Check the locations allowed for that habitat/species combination.
  3. Build the required group of objects or terrain pieces.
  4. Match any listed time and weather conditions.
  5. Wait for an arrival. A valid habitat does not guarantee that one specific species appears because other eligible Pokémon can use it.

For example, real habitat names include Tall Grass, Tree-shaded tall grass, Boulder-shaded Tall Grass, Hydrated tall grass, Seaside Tall Grass, Elevated tall grass, Illuminated tall grass, and Pretty flower bed. Those are constructed arrangements, not broad elemental tiers.

The habitat source also documents an important lighting shortcut: a night-only Pokémon can appear regardless of clock time when its habitat is somewhere dark, such as a cave or underground. A day-only Pokémon can appear at night when the habitat is surrounded by bright light.

Palette Town exclusive Pokemon

Palette Town is the one area whose location page provides an explicit exclusive list. The 25 listed Pokémon are:

Geodude, Scizor, Skwovet, Machop, Cramorant, Magby, Vikavolt, Rowlet, Pikachu, Tinkatink, Tinkatuff, Munchlax, Snorlax, Weezing, Tangela, Koffing, Mawile, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon.

This is more useful than pretending the four story areas each own a fixed quarter of the Pokédex.

Where are Togepi and Phanpy?

There is currently no verified location for either one.

On 2026-08-25, we checked all three current indexes:

  • the 300-entry main Pokédex;
  • the current Event Pokédex;
  • the 50-entry Basin Pokédex.

Togepi is not listed. Phanpy is not listed. Search results, old fan tables, or AI summaries that place either species in a region are not evidence of an in-game spawn. If a future patch or event adds one, the relevant separate index should change and this dated answer can be revised.

Event and Bubbly Basin Pokemon

Event Pokémon belong to the Event Pokédex, not the main 300 checklist. Always check the active-event window before planning a habitat; a historical event entry does not prove that its distribution is still open.

Bubbly Basin belongs to the paid Expansion Pass and uses the Basin Pokédex. Its 50 entries are primarily found in Bubbly Basin, although their habitats can be set up elsewhere after access. The list includes Popplio’s line and ends with Phione and Manaphy.

Unique, legendary, and mythical Pokemon

Story-specific forms are tracked separately from ordinary habitat guesses. The documented unique Pokémon are Professor Tangrowth, Peakychu, Mosslax, and Smearguru. Some share a numbered entry with the ordinary species.

Legendary and Mythical Pokémon use dedicated story, Dream Island, slate, or special-sequence methods. Do not assume a rare species appears because a generic high-tier habitat was built. Use the dedicated legendary source linked below and follow the exact method for the target.

Fastest reliable method for any missing entry

  1. Search this page by species name or Pokédex number.
  2. Open Entry source on the matching row.
  3. Read every habitat card shown for that species; some have more than one valid setup.
  4. Copy the exact location, rarity, time, and weather from that card.
  5. Build the named arrangement and allow time for an eligible visitor.
  6. If the time condition is inconvenient, use darkness or bright lighting only where the source says the day/night rule applies.
  7. For Event or Basin entries, switch to that separate Pokédex first.

This method is slower than copying a viral chart once, but much faster than building around a species that is not in the game.

Main Pokedex completion rewards

The registration path awards recipes along the way, including the Storage Box recipe at 6 registrations and the Big Storage Box recipe at 30. At 300 registered, the reward is the Neo Dowsing Machine recipe.

After crafting it, the completion guide directs you to the northwestern island of Sparkling Skylands with a Pokémon that has Search. The hidden scanner leads to the Developer Room. With a full Pokédex, it provides Printer, shutter, and card reader recipes, plus a Diploma that can be printed and displayed.
